About Forward Designs
Founded in January 1984, Forward Designs Inc. has progressed from a homemade work bench in my garage, to an office warehouse in Dallas, to a retail strip-center in Mesquite, Texas, to the heart of the Fashion Center within the Dallas World Trade Center and now located at 13725 Omega Rd, Farmers Branch, TX 75244.
In 2009, Forward Designs, Inc. will celebrate its 25 year anniversary in sales, repair, and production of fine custom jewelry. Thinking back, it seems like just a few years ago I was working at a local Dallas jewelry store for two years as a master repairer and stone setter. I knew that I could do better; I wanted to do more with my natural talent. This desire gave birth to Forward Designs, Inc. When I formed Forward Designs, my goal was to become one of the industry’s leading trade shops. Wax carving, custom jewelry repair, and manufacturing was my natural talent and passion. For many years, I have done a great deal of trade work, supporting the retail industry. People all over the world enjoy the fine jewelry we make at Forward Designs.
All of this would never have happened if I did not believe in my passion and talent. I desired more. I started working in platinum in the early 1980’s before the palladium guild made it popular again for jewelry. This gave me the edge needed to be chosen by many well known and respected retailers: Tiffany, Fred Joaillier, Cartier, Neiman-Marcus, just to name a few. Over the years I have employed and trained some of the finest jewelers and support team this industry has known.
My current team continues that Forward Designs tradition of a talented, friendly, and courteous support team. Our current edge on the industry includes a strong knowledge and experience in palladium, the up-and-coming metal that will soon be a household name in jewelry. Forward Designs also employs the cutting edge in jewelry-related technology. We were one of the first jewelers in Dallas to have a laser welder, CAD design software, and rapid prototyping machinery. These allow us to do for you what normally only the large manufacturers can do, but in a custom and personal way.
When you combine the desire, knowledge, and technology with our extensive expertise, it makes for a lasting effect on our customers. Over the years, we have had many happy customers and look forward to continued growth through referrals, word-of-mouth, and e-commerce.
